Alamo proudly recognizes Janet Hardt as the 2023/2024 Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Hardt works tirelessly to ensure her students are learning and engaged every day. Her engagement strategies are motivating and include all students.
Her Hawaiian-themed classroom is a welcoming space where students love to learn. She loves her students and loves teaching, and it shows every day.
Even before AVID, she was focused on all her students going to college, starting each year with a cap and gown photo to motivate and inspire them.
Mrs. Hardt is well respected by the staff. She works collaboratively with her team and is willing to share materials and lessons with her colleagues.
She often volunteers for committees and attends district meetings to be a voice for her students and our staff.
Alamo is very lucky and extremely proud to have Janet Hardt in our Eagle Family.
